Paulina Rubio's "Ananda" Latin Album of the year

Though im sure Shakira will take that award, Paulinas new CD out on the 19th is yet another work of Perfection for the "Original Blonde" of Latin Music. Paulina continues to embrace Pop/Dance, but she also gives her fair share to rock and her Mexican heritage, this record is a solid work of perfection from an artist that has been at it since the mid 80's when she was in the group "Timbriche" with Thalia. Its also funny how right now, the top Females in latin Music with the exception of Shakira, are all in their mid to later 30's (thalia,Paulina,Gisselle,Patrcia Manterola,Alejandra guzman), had they been american artists they were be considered finished, washed up, old news, maybe its time america embraces the way the latin community looks at their pioneer artists.

"We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F
