K-Ci - "Baby Come Back" Has anyone heard this song yet? It's off of K-Ci's new album to be released on Sept. 26 "My Book". It's a pretty good R&B song. And suprisingly he doesn't do too much yelling and screeching on the song, it's kind of mellow, but if you get the chance to listen the song, check it out. It's one of a few decent R&B songs that i've heard this year. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Who the hell told K-Ci to go solo? Get your scrawny ass back to Jodeci and make that comeback album! "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

OK. There was a song with that same title on the first K-Ci and JoJo album. Are you sure it's not the same song, sampling the J5's 'Whatever You Got I Want"? I'm sick and tired of the Prince fans being sick and tired of the Prince fans that are sick and tired!

My thoughts exactly. no its not the same song. the song i'm talking about is on K-Ci's new album, Jo-Jo is no where to be found on this song. and actually the song maybe called "Baby I'm Back" or something like that...I don't have the track listing for the album....hope this clears it up for some of you... I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I was wondering the same thing. If it is, that could be a nice remake(unless K-Ci gets all "Sephus and Reesie" on us). [Edited 9/15/06 9:01am] howthephuckdoyouspellreesieedit [Edited 9/15/06 9:02am] A happy face, A Thumpin Bass, For A Lovin' Race. PEACE.

Is "Playa" the same as the 70's group "Player" She's a little confused. Playa is the '90s group (and their album is hot). Player is the '70s group that sang "Baby Come Back," which was #1 in January 1978. "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I never heard of them By the way, can I just say how damn GOOD "Baby Come Back" sounds just popping up on my ITunes?? Greatest invention in the world, keeps reminding you of all the music you love but can't be bothered to whip out a cd for... if it's even on cd!

"Don't Stop the Music" and "Cheers 2 U" were the hit singles. They also sang on Timbaland's albums (with and without Magoo) and did a lot of work with Aaliyah. Check them out! I can't be confused by something that i didn't know about. Apparently this song you "older" people are discussing came out before my time anywayz. Anyway, the thread was about K-Ci's song and how much i liked so whatever I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I have to hear this, I've been waiting for lil Bobby Womack to go solo for years now. Don't get me wrong his music with Jojo was cool, I just wanted and entire cd with his voice only.

I'm digging it so far. Al B sure and Aaron Hall makes an appearence on this cd also. I don't get why he would have lil thug dude from Ohio on a track though.Lazie bone....
