It's coming out Oct 3rd in other countries, but not the one she is from. It probably will come out here, soon. I'm kind of confused by the fact that she is no longer on Motown, since they can (and do) exploit her back catalog. Why not release a proper collection of all her hits with new songs if you gotta go the collection route? She just released one, called "The Defintive Collection", which is good but messed up because there is no order to the tracks at all and nothing kind of new. Anyway, I figured she would never leave Motown since she is part owner or something?

Anyway, good news because the import is available online at a very good price. There are a lot of verisons but there is one with a DVD, that sells for $16.29 at CDuniverse and at Amazon for $17.99 (and Amazon confirms their verison had a DVD, with 0 region). Check it out.

You`re right about the compilations, they should come up with something "new", i`m sure there are plenty of unreleased songs to choose from, the motown antholgy was great, cause they included some rareties, like the b-side "Old funky rolls", there`s also a b-side called "Fight for it" that still hasn`t been released on cd. Now i don`t know if it`s greatest hits material, but it would be nice to hear.
Also, i`d like to have her cover of "For once in my life" from the "Motown superstars sings Motown superstars" album...
