When i was working at a recording studio I bumped into him once in the hallway. It was just me and him...i was NOT allowed to speak to him ofcours but it was really surreal. We made eye contact and we both nodded hello to each other. It was strange because i used to have his pics plastered to my wall and would cry if i saw him on TV!! eek

Anyway...from what i heard from the engineers he was actually pretty normal, hard-working and liked to read alot...although VERY hard to look at initailly...
