Musical Suggestions, Please!

Guys I"m dying! Anyone have any musical suggestions to get me through the month? I listen to pretty much anything that sounds good so help me out. I know Jamiroquai is supposedly coming out with a greatest hits cd. Teena Marie has a new jam out there. But I want more! What songs or cd's do you recommend in the R &B, Rock, Adult Contemporary, Country, Hip-Hop and any other category you can think of..

You do? Well when I left topics in the Music Non-Prince section about JuliansRide and Supernova -- I was told the same thing. Was actually directed here to General Discussion. So this time I thought I'd start here and you're sending me elsewhere. Why dont'you guys just be honest and tell me to "f-off" already?

New music does NOT suck.

I would suggest you go on myspace and search for new music on there. You can search genres.

I'm inclined to agree with you. Whenever music gets boring in the states and it's been that way for awhile, the Brits usually bring us out of it! Thanks everyone for your help. I'm going to those sites now....

i was just in the music shop today and there's all this new stuff.

Elton has a new one out. i really want to hear it but his last album was so boring i gave it away.
then there was johnny Lang's new one, Thom Yorke, and a few others. i didn't get any of them.

i'm quite bored with new music as well.

anyone hear about Elton's new one?

I thought Thom Yorke's new one was shit, but it's grown on me. It's still definitely nowhere near Radiohead, but it's alright.

Pick up The Roots' new joint, Game Theory immediately. Trust me, it's one of the best releases you'll hear all year. music

Teena Marie's Sapphire is incredible.

Outkast's Idlewild is cool too!

I heard the samples of Janet's new 20.Y.O CD and it sounds dope, so make sure you check that out Sept.26th...

best shit I've heard in a while. For fuck's sake, what does it take to impress some people. Just because they formed their band on a reality TV show they've lost all credit? Well that's bullshit because they are making fine ass music.
