Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown are on the brink of divorce, according to reports in the US press.

The couple's turbulent 14-year marriage has been the subject of constant speculation, with the pair at the centre of a string of fights and scandals over the years.

However, it's now been claimed by a New York newspaper that Brown has been telling friends that the pair will divorce in the near future.

Brown was apparently seen entangled with a gaggle of girls at an all-star concert at the Foxwoods Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut earlier this month, prompting the new rumours.

A backstage 'source' told the New York Daily News: "While flirting with a bunch of women, they asked, 'What's up with your wife?' Bobby said, 'We ain't together no more. We're getting a divorce.'"

Whitney and Bobby Brown have one child, a daughter Bobbi Kristina, aged 12.
