Doyle Bramhall II

I’m digging the songs on his MySpace page. Does anyone know when he’s coming out with something new?

No word yet on anything new, be sure to check out his 3 releases so far though.

I strongly recommend checking out his '99 album Jellycream if you liked those MySpace tracks... It's pretty hard to find nowadays.

I'm digging them too but I still have to get his debut. It's been too long since his last release.

Jellycream is alright but the one that really rocks & features wendy & lisa prominently is Doyle Bramhall II.

This thread is about Doyle Bramhall 11 wink BTW, I enjoyed Jellycream the best, though the first one was cool. To me, it just didn't contain enough of Doyle - dude's a great guitar player. The first album seemed to be more about textures than actual playing. It was still cool, though.

I bought the first album for 2 bucks out of a bargain bin shortly after it came out. Bought JellyCream for 7 bucks when it came out. "I Wanna Be" was a "make-it-or-break-it" song on a local rock station. It got played for a day...I thought it was a great song...

The Arc Angels album is classic, too.

No, I think farkunk means that DBII (the album that features wendy and lisa) is the one that really rocks.

Me knows that wink I was referring to the "& features Wendy & Lisa prominently" part...
