Ahhhh, there we go again...I still don´t know for sure whether that´s a Ray Charles song covered by Prince ( in the studio ) or whether it´s a Prince penned song sung by Ray Charles....I´ve read so much contradictory info over the years...

It sure sounds like his work, but I just love Ray Charles. I want to see that commercial. I wanna own it. Even though I love Prince's version loads, Ray Charles' version is SLAMMIN'; he turns it it inside out. I just imagine how proud Prince would have been, seeing Charles perform it. Ray Charles STOLE that song, just like Sinead stole Nothing Compares; not so many people can do that with a Prince song. |
