Why the hell did The View cast her to perform on the 5th anniversary of 9/11?

So, I totally vowed to give up watching The View after Meredith left but I must admit that the first week with Rosie has been a fun train wreak so I started watching it again...And then todays show happened.

First off, the chemistry between the four ladies finally clicked. They each shared their memories of 9/11 in touching and sincere fashions...They then went to a commercial break showing Rosie's art work depecting various images from 9/11...almost had me in tears.

One of the most touching moments of their morning chat was with Rosie remembering how haunting and chilling it was to hear sirens around New York the first few weeks after 9/11.

and then Beyonce came out.

She performed her usual hoochie dance with fifty backup dancers doing their best Janet knock off...

with a FREAKEN SIREN playing during the entire song. WTF? all I could think about was how tacky this sh*t was...why didnt the producers of the show realize this might not be the best day to have Janet...ooops Beyonce on the show...

and whats up with Beyonce winning 9 Grammy awards? Teena Marie has zero and this weave wearing horse warbling b*tch has 9?

damn, i think im need to stop watching this show again.

oh lord, now they are letting the b*tch actually speak...

she talks like a ten dollar hooker from the hood...she had the nerve so say she was donating 100 pairs of her jeans to charity for needy girls...then she gives away a pair of jeans to each person in the audience...

uhhh, so The View seats a couple hundred folks yet your only donating 100 to kids that actually need the help???

It was bad timing. I guess the show didn't want to make it just about 9/11, even though it's really hard to focus on anything else.

not to mention her music sounds like sataccato robot music.

U know its been a very tacky fifth anniversary for 9/11 anyway. I woke up this morning and the news shows were giving points on the radar where the planes were 5 years ago at that time, then of course CNN running its "live" footage from five years ago on its website. But as much as i fault the views producers i have to fault Beyonce herself with her song selection, its almost like coming out their and singing Body Counts "Fuck the Police", come on B your cd is selling "ring the alarm" is everywhere, do something different, no one the View wants to see your ass shaking, besides rosie.

I guess you could say she messed up but I think it was just wrong timing I mean...she per4med her new single just like any1 else would,she didnt purposely say "oh let me ring an alarm and bring back bad 9/11 memories" and I bet ur more offended than Rosie or anybody else was...no need 4 name calling and bashing...and u seem pretty...well VERY bitter about her receiving grammy awards and Teena Marie not I thought this was about the her View per4mance...but w/e... some people

Firstly She is promoting an album that has nothing to do with 9/11. I dont see how it is innappropriate?!
secondly Beyonce talks like every other ho on trl, Christina, Britney, why does she have to be a $10 hooker from "the hood"

I mean we're talking about THE VIEW here, so the word "serious" shouldn't be involved when it comes to watching that show.

As much as the child works my nerves, I actually think she the one that will have longevity. Yes, I said it.

I watched her on the Fashion Rocks show and I was actually a little entertained but it could have been because she didn't roll around on the floor and I think she took some of the weave out.

She's never been the best at public speaking just like MJB. Mary J has improved and I think Beyonce has gotten better. I think we hear more of a texan thing vs "hood". (I think )

She does need to kill the Janet Jackson thing. When my kid said, "isn't that the rhythm nation dance" I was like...oh damn...beyonce is in trouble with this look.

and yes...its just the view.

you guys actually watch a crap show like 'The View'? Rosie Odonnell is the most annoying,obnoxious celebrity ever.She's reason enough to not watch it.

I don't think Beyonce sounds hood and I don't think it's even her accent. She has poor diction. It's like her tongue is too big. I don't know if she has some sort of impediment or just doesn't try hard enough but some speech classes would do her lovely. Afterall I do think she's going to be around for some time.
