I bought the albums "III", "IV", and "V-Jammin", along with their 12 Inches. After that, I just bought the 12 Inch of "Beep A Freak" and the 45 "Zibble Zibble (Get The Money). Andy is a four letter word.

I've got Gap Band (the one released on Mercury) and I ordered Gap Band II a week ago from Amazon.com It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

Was the "Disrespect" video a dig at Prince? It has a cartoon character that looks alot like Prince, and it shows him acting like a stuck-up rock star, refusing to sign a young girl's autograph, snatching a camera from a fan, etc.

It could be about all the faces they showed at the end (03:25), including our precious Madonna (with the painter's hat from Borderline).

The illustration of the girl shaking her thang is of Dawn Silva aka The Bride of Funkenstein. She sang with the Gap Band in the early 80's.

Disrespect gets NO RESPECT because nobody plays it..but this is MY JAM!!
AND MUCH POPS 2 u mentioning "Weak Spot" That is a true R&B 80's soul classic. Another song I really liked on VII was "I Know We'll Make It" that synth and snare was not to be fucked with. Straight Jacket Funk Affair
Album plays and love for vinyl records.

Gap band VI was a funky album and also a funky looking album cover
with Robert holding that cigarette in his mouth. My jam was video junkie. Also weak spot, i believe, i found my baby, and beep a freak. I thought disrespect was a little wack and derivative of some of the older stuff like oops up side your head. Gap VII was very underrated. Desire was my jam. Going in cirles. Automatic brain. What a feeling. Real love. Gap 8 was just okay. I liked i can't live without your love(great ballad),Big fun,and Zibble Zibble get the money. Gap 4 and Gap 5 Jammin were my favorites. Gap 5 was just sick with it. Shake a leg, I'm ready, Jammin in America,Party train, Jam the motha(George Clinton would sweat on that one)! I expect more. Gap 5 is probably one of my favorite funk albums of all time. I was a senior in high school when that joint came out. Man yall gonna make me pick that damn thang up on cd come monday. Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint
