Bad Brains Fans

There is a Bad Brains DVD dropping next week. I guess a bunch of footage from some 1982 shows at CBGB's turned up and it is finally being released.

Here is a short clip: http://www.youtube.com/wa...PCFSJwpsKw

The quality is not stellar, but I will definitely be checking it out.

What about "F.V.K.", "Banned In D.C.", "Right Brigade", "She's Calling You", and "Rock For Light"? They also have a really heavy sound. Not neceassarily metal, but then I never equated any Bad Brains songs with metal though. hmmm

You don't like hardcore?

Not especially? Motorhead is really hard punk to me. My favorite harcore track would be Livin' in the City by Fear. I like some bands associated with hardcore like Black Flag, but the tracks I like from them Tv Party, Family Man, are not hardcore. I love Husker Du, but they're hardcore-light if anything. I love 90's metal/ harcore bands like Biohazard and Life of Agony.

I never got into Fear for some reason. hmmm Biohazard I loved. nod Which makes me think of the Cro-Mags. Did you ever get into them? Damn, I loved them and "Age of Quarrel" is an awesome album, but I haven't heard it in literally 15 years. lol I only had it on cassette. sad I borrowed it on vinyl from a friend, and I almost wasn't going to give it back to him I wanted to keep it so badly. lurking

Love Black Flag nod and Husker Du I didn't get into until recently, which is sacrilege I suppose coming from Mpls. and all. boxed

Here's their bio on Wikipedia:

And I also found some songs from Age of Quarrel on their official site:

I only had Age of Quarrel though. I never got the other albums that followed. God now I'm getting all excited listening to these links because I haven't heard them in ages. excited I still remember every single lyric too. lol
