Genesis great 80s prog rock

I think Genesis are underated they wrote gret pop songs and had lush arrangements, they have had a golden period of 1973-1993 until Phil Collins left, their early songs with Peter Gabriel on vocals were interesting to say the least, but the golden age of Invisible touch and We cant dance was the best. Songs like Invisible Touch, Mama, Land of Confusion and No son of mine are rock classics and well who cant agree Throwing it all away is the best break up song ever written.
Also Phil Collins got to use GENESIS as an outlet for his more rocky material, but even the ballads hold on my heart and in too deep are better than any of his schmaltzy solos stuff.
So who agrees they rocked, who cares if he was bald, had mullets and wore god awful striped tshirts.

GENESIS RULED cool cool cool cool cool cool cool cool
