Adore it ~ Love it ~ was just listening to it the other day.

The less room you give me
The more space I've got

These lyrics were especially important during a difficult time with my husband.
Music is the language of the spirit. It opens the secret of life bringing peace, abolishing strife. --Kahlil Gibran

i really like this song.
actually i adore the album.
its so cold and yet calming.
i don't want to be wrong-
but i've notice that she always saying things
against the buddhist belief.

"I Aint No Fucking Buddhist
But This Is Enlightment(Mispell?)

does any one know why?

also in various quote she has said insulted the buddhist belief.

I love it, of course. But it's the one song I don't feel like fits "Homogenic" in its album version.

The video mix with the harder beats and string samples would sound much more at home on there. And it's much better.

Totally love the video too.

i don't see it as her slamming buddhism...i always just interpreted that lyric to mean that she's no expert on enlightenment, but she knows it when she feels it. i've read interviews where she has talked about meditation being what you make it, but i've never heard her goof on buddhism. doesn't seem like it would be in her character.

Bjork actually referred to Alarm Call as "my Michael Jackson song" once.

Wonder what she meant by that. hmm

Her idea of humanitarianism?

"I've walked this earth and watched people...I can be sincere and say I like them."

Yup, it's her "Heal the World"!!

It's the funnest song on the album.

I think the Buddhist line is more about being bored with how fashionable it is to be Buddhist, while acknowledging that enlightnenment is a valid concept.
