I can't believe I missed a Goldfrapp thread. I just stumbled upon this one looking for another old thread.

Goldfrapp are two bands really. One is an atmospheric Portishead-type band and the other is the greatest retro-glam-electro-disco group that you never heard. If you are interested in the former then try the album 'Felt Mountain'. If you want to hear the latter then go for this year's 'Supernature' LP. There is one other album 'Black Cherry' that is sort of a transitional record, but it still leans more toward 'Supernature'.
