Should I Go See Boyz II Men?

So Boyz II Men are coming to my stomping grounds of Omaha, NE. I grew up on them and really enjoy their music.....but should I go? Its $25 for GA in the back. Does anyone know if they bring a band with them or do they just go karaoke style? I know they're a trio now, what songs do they do? Anyone who has seen them recently and can give me a thumbs up or down, would be greatly appreciated.

Thank You!

I heard that one of the members quit a long time ago.

Mike quit because of back problems. See, that cane wasn't just for show! sad

I didn't see them recently but I saw them open for Janet in 2000 and they were awesome! Killed Janet vocally.

The one who sung bass has retired due to back problems but although he was part of the sound, they still rock without him because he rarely sung lead anyway.

Wanye is the real deal! He has one of the greatest r&b voices ever. Tone, range, control. Regardless of whether they have a full band behind them (you'd think they would if they are headliners) I would skip the $25 at the back ticket and get closer to the stage.

yeah i heard he had some health problems and they kept touring and stuff...to my knowledge it seemed like they just kept accepting gigs without any regards to Mike's health, hence, him quitting. Which is wrong...but i guess their motto is "Business is business, never personal".

Personally, i'd keep the $25 and wait for Jodeci to go on tour. I'd rather see K-Ci running across the stage screaming into the mic before I see Wanya whine into it and bore me...
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I understood from an article about 10 years ago that Michael McCary's health problems could leave him paralyzed in the future. It was painful for him to move around on stage or at times even walk.
THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. HOLD ON TO YOUR DRAWERS!

They seem like good fullas I'm sure Mike wanted the group to carry on even if he was forced to retire.

I saw K-ci and Jojo last year and they were good but believe it or not having seen both live I rate Wanye slightly over K-ci! He is underestimated...

It's a comparison made all the more eerie in that both Michael McCary and The Temptations' Melvin Franklin were diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis in their mid-20s.

By the late '90s, McCary was limited in his ability to dance at live performances; the other three members of Boyz II Men eventually resorted to having McCary seated on a stool while they did all the dancing themselves.

Franklin used cortisone so that he could continue performing with The Temptations, but it left his immune system open to other infections and health problems. Franklin developed diabetes in the early 1980s and later contracted necrotizing fasciitis. He went into a coma in 1993 and six days later died from a brain seizure.

McCary also has scoliosis, which forced him to retire from Boyz II Men in 2003. You have to wonder if McCary ever has had a spinal fusion surgery (I've never heard of a story where he's had the operation), and it's possibly a complication from the rheumatoid arthritis.

Yes you should go to see them wink .They're a great R&B group and they made wonderful, lasting songs which is rare today. If I had a chance I would definitely go.
