Jennifer Lopez Sued Over Her Glow Fragrance

Jennifer Lopez is being sued over the name of her new fragrance, Glow, by Glow Industries, Inc.

The suit, filed in U.S. District Court's Central District of California on Wednesday (Aug. 7), is for trademark infringement, dilution of trademark, unfair competition, and violation of the Lanham Act.

Had Lopez done her homework on the name, she would've found out that Glow Industries also makes fragrances and other beauty products, such as perfumes, soaps, scented oils, scented mists, bubble bath, skin moisturizers, candles, and more.

Lopez is launching her perfume, Glow by J.Lo, this fall (allstar, Miss Truth, July 17). Glow, meanwhile, is also the name of her sister's (Lynda Lopez) TV show on the Style Network.

Still, when ur name is on the shit...u should b aware of all the shit goin' on with ur product. 2 funny.

Still...she should be able to use 'Glow By J-Lo'. This is just beurocratic corporate BS. They don't have a product called 'Glow By J-Lo'. So what if their company is called 'Glow'. My advice to her would be to fight it.

I wouldn't believe for a second that Ms. Lopez had anything to do with the perfume beyond posing for a photo shoot to promote it.
