Go Bob! But WTF is up with Danity Kane doing so well? That's the most boggling mystery of the decade.

I don't pay much attention to charts etc, but right on Bob! This cd deserves to be in the # 1 spot.

what was Dylan's last #1, I wonder? Blood on the Tracks? Desire?
Edit - Never mind, the answer's right on the billboard home page - Desire in '76. [Edited 9/6/06 15:57pm]

Bob is going to easily be this years "Santana" and "Norah Jones" at the grammys, but good for him, long overdue. Thats already the talk around the industry, since the cutoff for the grammies is creeping up again, they are early yet again this year, Elton has also been getting alot of positive mentions for his "The Captain and the Kid" which is out 9/19 and is a sequel to "Captain Fantastic" "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

I've got the cd and it's very good. So the number 1 is very well deserved but surprising me thinks. I do think that Time Out Of Mind is better than Modern Times. (Little Richard enters the stage)
Homer: Purple Rain!! Little Richard: Shut up! Homer (to Marge): Oh my God, Michael Jackson just told me to shut up!

One can only hope that they give Grammys to Bob and not the likes of Beyonce or that ridiculous band Danity Kane, not to mention JT, PCD and Fergie
