Right on, people. Since this is turning into Sly and Robbie appreciation day, I'm pulling out Grace Jones 'Compass Point Sessions'.

I'm not very deeply into Reggae myself, but those albums do not fit into that narrow pattern but are rather a unique and powerful mixture over many genres and yes heavily Funk loaded I'd, say you can't go wrong with either of those two, but probably you should follow pills advice and start out with Rhythm Killers btw, I saw them in concert once a bit after Language Barrier was released and was eager to see a show similar to that albums sound... but nope, it was Reggae all along with the Taxi Gang (Yellowman etc.) and not really a Funk nite... I was a bit disappointed that evening . [Edited 9/7/06 4:41am] Vanglorious... this is protected by the red, the black, and the green. With a key... sissy!
