well basically theres no reason to put him in jail, seize his property fine, takeover his bank account all right, putting someone in prison is just a waste of money and time.

Our government needs to make an example out of someone. And they choose Ronald.

Ronald Isley and refusing to pay taxes to the IRS has been a long-standing issue. I remember in the height of The Isley Brothers' popularity in the late 1970s that the act owed the government in back taxes, and had a huge mansion being built for their mother seized.

I think they also lost T-Neck Records because of that.

Considering that tax revenue is how the United States is able to stay in business and that it trickles down to the freedoms and opportunities you enjoy, I would say not paying your share of the bounty that allows you to enjoy your standard of living -- and in the case of Ronald Isley, a standard of living that is a very nice on -- can be considered a serious enough crime.

I was a huge fan of the Isley Bros. in the 70s,but lately, they've been destroying their legacy, imo. All of these awful R-Kelly-produced albums, and now a jail stint for Ronald?? disbelief hard to believe that,at one time, they were an incredible funk band.

Exactly. The Isley Brothers used to be some hard funkin' motherfuckers. It was bad enough in the late 1980s, when they gave up funk and made ballads only. But when they sold out to shit hop, oh hell naw! They need to lock Ronald Isley up for that reason alone. That Mr. Biggs bullshit is a fucking disgrace and embarassment to the Isley Brothers' name.

.....and it's all R.Kelly's fault for creating THAT alter ego for Ronald!

But it's always been typical for Ronald Isley to do anything for money & to stay in the spotlight.
