Dino "I Like It" (1989)---who remembers this guy?

Who remembers Dino? "That's the way it's got to be cause that's the way I like it....that's the way it's got to be cause that's the way I like it" music His debut album '24/7' was decent....I also liked the song "Never 2 Much Of U".

I don't remember what any of his songs sound like. I just remember chuckling at his name everytime I heard it mentioned.

I remember his second CD in 1991 had a very good remake of the 1984 slow jam "Gentle (Calling Your Name)" music

It looked like he was on his way,but then he just faded away.

I remember him. "24/7" was the jam and "I like it" too. "Summer girls" was wack though.

I remember this cat...I was a fan and got the chance 2 meet him in 1991 in Stratford, CT at one of his relative's houses. He was really cool and the "Swingin'" CD had some good jamz on it. But his best song is "Endlessly" off his 1993 release "The Way I Am." That song is a classic love jam and if u can't get laid 2 that track there is something wrong with u.
By the way, when I met him his girl was with him and she was SMOKING HOT. I just met them and she gave me a big kiss on the lips. TOO SEXY!

That makes sense.Dino's song "I Like It" is basically a re-write of the 1975 KC & The Sunshine Band hit "That's The Way I Like It".

music "24/7" is a nice song, even though it sounds alot like Al B Sure's "Night And Day".

Damn, i didn't think anyone had his "the way iam" album. the first 2 tracks are killer funky workouts. "sock it to ya" in particular

Heres his remake of "ooh child". At least he does something different with the song. U can dance to this.

LOL Dino is so corny.

I still got a couple of his music videos ("gentle" and "romeo", which looked exactly like Father mc's "lisa baby" video)

"i like it" is almost newjackswing i guess, though hsi "24/7" album is more freestyle though. Each of his 3 albums has a couple of cool tracks on 'em.

I actually do remember that song. I dug it then but if I listened to it now then I would probably say "Oh god, this is sooooo 80's". disbelief

That's probably why his vocal style was compared to KC.He had a jam called "Summer Girls"back in '87.

Yeah, if I had to choose between the two songs (and there were no ice picks around for me to jam in my ears), i'd be "Summergirls"...
• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

Most late-80s songs didn't age well imo,but I think this song still packs a punch lol the only thing is,I'd be embarassed to play it when someone else is around, lol.

I love "Gentle (Calling Your Name)"! music That's actually a remake of a 1984 song by a guy named Frederick.Dino does a good job with it.I can't believe it didn't become a bigger hit.
