I have just finished reading an Incredible book..Its called "Space between the stars"
It was written by Carlos Santana' wife Deborah Santana..Its an amazing look about her life as the daughter of a famous guitarist..and the girlfriend of Sly Stone and the Wife of Carlos Santana..Its filled with juicy stories that Any fan of these two great artist would Love !!! highlights:

: Sharing the details behind his crazy drug filled life between 1969-1971
: her discussing how he was a former pimp..& his daily routines/activity's
: Sharing stories about the times he beat her up and called her a Bitch to impress friends

Sly was/is a mean motherfucker; alot worse than Prince and other entertainers.

Maybe that's partialy the reason for Larry Gayham converting to the JW cult; he was doing crazy shit with sly and wanted to make up fro his sins.( i read sly and the family stone did alot of shit on the road; drugs, groupies)

I've been reading alot recently including bios/autobios and i'm shocked and disgusted at the behaviour of many entertainers i respected.

I mean who would of though John lennon was abusive and violent to men and women; allegedly beating a man to near death with a SHOVEL!

Miles davis is another sick bastard, so was Hendrix; both extremely violent to women without provocation.

Miles had a lot of issues, mainly to do with his bisexuality.

Thanks. I'll definetly check this book out. Sly was bisexual too. I remember reading that in Jet magazine. He admitted it and said it was "personal battle within himself".

Jimi twice smashed a vodka bottle in his girlfriend carmen's face; she had to go to emergency room on both occasions. The first time the docs thought she was gonna lose her eye!

He beat kathy with a phone becuase he thought she was ringing a guy!

He also kicked kathy in the face; fracturing her nose in three places while she lay on the ground beaten and bruised.

The problem with such stories are always that they may heavily influence your perception of someone, without bein able to KNOW that they are true.

I've read alot of info about Miles and I've never heard he was bisexual....AT ALL.

Miles Davis being bisexual is rumoured only. Never been confirmed. Though his younger brother was/ is known to be homosexual, according to books I have read.

3) Carmen barrera ...Who knows what her deal was..but she was cool with being in the "scene"... they shared drugs together..and she knew he would sometimes have up to 5 women at a time in his bed..while living with Devon wilson..sounds a bit unstable to me...?
Theres no forgiving what Jimi did, But I think it would 100% wrong to assume he was a Good guy in all ways...

You might want to check out Ian Carr's biography of Miles Davis. Ian Carr is a highly respected UK jazz musician whose book was thoroughly researched. He mentions Miles' bisexuality in it. Face it, he liked the dick and the pussy.
