BOOTZAY & LARRY G @ Rockschool ( UK )

Which UK-ers remember this tv-show ?
The teachers were from the UK .
2 memorable moments are the appearances from the bass-gurus .
Another hilarious scene which i couldn't find were the explanations of Sly & Robbie , who apparently were on weed during the show

1rst the Starchild .
This is the scene @ the end of the program .
Put the volumes loud and you can hear Bootchi's cosmic spoken ad-libs .

Casper ... WHO?

The show was also broadcasted in the Netherlands .
There are dutch translations during this part of Larry's joint.
& Tony Maiden = in tha HOWSE !

Not from the UK, but I remember the show, especially these episodes! They used to air it in the U.S., too, back in the mid 80's.....

Hah, I'm watching the live clip of Bootsy performing Very Yes in Houston, 1978. He says something like 'Imma gonna let my brother cum all over your afro. Cmon, Cat!", before Catfish hits his solo lol

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

It was on PBS and hosted by...

...Herbie Hancock

Each week they focused on a different instrument (guitar, bass, drums, keys)

Xactly!... yeah, in the US, Herbie's segments were a kind of an envelope to the UK show...
