But here's the best thing about this dude - so many of his songs are such GROWERS!

Not only do I feel like I'm hearing a song for the first time (despite it being the 50th spin) but after a while certain songs just HIT YOU.

I've been on the first album for weeks now. When I first heard "Precious" I thought it was nice, no biggy. Then it hit me like a fucking brick the other day & I simply can't get off of it - repeat, repeat, repeat. The lyrics, the melody - my God

I just can't get enough of this dude right now (after talking MUCH SHIT in the past!!) Really & truly diggin' him, he's got some GREAT songs

i've yet to ride is nut sack.

His latest album is more of a grower for me. The first one i lapped up straight away. Though Her December was the song that hit me later on. Precious is a gorgeous song.

I still struggle with the first album at times but at the time it was in rotation I could appreciate his talent and hear his potential. The second album was much easier to digest. It took a few listens 'cause it's a long album but I love it more than the debut now.

I loooove me so Van Hunt, my 2nd fav. musican behind Prince. Plus Van made one of the coolest moments of my life happen. when he called me out by name during one of his concerts!!!!
