I love THIS dance song! This was a hit video on The Box & Club MTV back in 1991. And Elisa was a cutie.

Oh THIS is so cool! I always thought David Z. was so underrated as a producer.

Prince wrote On The Way Up.

he also wrote Playgirl, Love's No Fun, Ooh This I Need and I Am from the same album.

she also sang backup on several tracks dating from around that time. most notably Walk Don't Walk and Love Machine. she also sings lead vocals on "Oobey Doop", an outtake from the N.P.G. Funky Weapon maxi.

I remember Love Machine. Morris & Elisa sounded good together.

Ooh This I Need is THE cut.

LOVED her vocals on Love Machine too..
• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

"dont change" is my fav. "love's no fun" is one of Prince's more underated songs I think. If jill jones had done it, people would of loved it. Infact, it does sound like a jill outtake.
