You are granted a dream concert. 5 artists only. Your own dream concert. You can have five artists (living or dead). It's a dream : ))
What time of year? What venue? I want an early Fall, Saturday night concert at Yoshi's in Oakland, CA. Prince and the Lovesexy Band The Time - original lineup D'Angelo Slave Earth, Wind & Fire (circa 1975)

Just Led Zeppelin in San Francisco circa 1969 in a very small venue.
Playing for 4 hours. And then afterward: loads of fun. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

Red Hot Chili Peppers open the show with "Around The World". Then they play "Get On Top", "Suck My Kiss" with a kick ass guitar solo played by John Frusciante which goes for about 8 minutes. Then George Clinton comes on stage to do "Give It Away" with them. Then Chili Peppers leave and George Clinton is joined by Parliament. They do "Tear The Roof Off The Mother", "Unfucky UFO", "Handcuffs" and "Flashlight". Then Prince joins them onstage to perform "Erotic City". Parliament leave and Prince is joined on stage by his lovesexy band. They perform "DMSR" for like 15 minutes and then they do "Bambi", "The Beautiful Ones", "The Marrykind/If Eye Was The Man In Your Life" and "A Million Days". Then Michael Jackson comes on stage and him and Prince do "Bad". The the Jacksons join Michael and they do "Can You Feel It", "Dancing Machine", "Shake Your Body", "Heartbreak Hotel", "Lovely One", "Walk Right Now", "Don't Stop" and "Rock With You". Then Michael says "goodnight" as if it was the end of the show. Then about 5 minutes later, Chad Smith comes out and does a kick ass drum solo. Then Flea comes out and bust out on the bass. Frusciante comes out and starts shreding his guitar. Then Kiedis comes out and the bust starts playing "Storm In A Teacup", "Torture Me", "Hump De Bump", "By The Way", "Scar Tissue", "Californication" and they finish with "Under The Bridge". Then the show truly ends.

That would be a perfect concert. [Edited 8/19/06 6:09am] I really feel where you're coming from...But I would let RHCP play Subway to Venus and Sexy Mexican Maid instead of the SA songs... alright let's get it on with my vision of the perfect concert: RHCP open with those Mother's Milk songs, then it's Gypsy Time. Taraf de Haidouks, Fanfare Ciocarlia and Ando Drom playing their songs and jamming forever. Then, after everyone is exhausted after dancing like crazy, Anouar Brahem with his oud comes on stage, accompanied by Barbaros Erkose on flute and Shaukat Hussain on drums, and they play the whole album "Conte de l'incroyable amour".
