New Kids On The Block -- Games (Kids Get Hard Mix) http://www.youtube.com/wa...kFj9pweE2I
Remember when the New Kids became NKOTB? THIS video took place back in their hometown of Boston (Yes, New Edition are from there too!). Remember when Donnie was playing the role of Bobby Brown?!? Don't believe me? Watch the video. The cheezeness keep this video a fun to watch, IMO.

I think it was Maurie Starr (who also compose the original version). BTW, did you notice Donnie playing the role of Bobby Brown in the video?

Sounds like Donnie rhymes over Kool & The Gang "N.T." drums at the start then Funkadelic "I Bet You" drums later on.

We have NKOTB to blame for all those crappy Boy GROUPS (I refuse to call them BANDS)of the 90's. N'SYNC, 98 Degrees, Backstreet Boys and O'Town should all bow down and kiss their feet.

CORRECTION: New Edition is THE boy band that everyone wanted to be like since 1988 (including New Kids On The Block). BTW, NE & NKOTB are still good friends even to this day.

I also remember that the Malcolm X fashion was too much. Damn, even New Kids On The Freaking Block was namechecking Malcolm!

I think it was Maurie Starr (who also compose the original version). I remembered this yesterday, wasn't it C&C Music Factory who remixed that whole `91 album? I stopped following New Kids On The Block after this.

Yeeeeeah boyyyyyeeeee For hip-hop credibility purposes, THIS is the same idea Vanilla Ice try to use! C and c remixed the fuck outta that song. The album is well worth getting if ur into that late 80's/early 90's pop sound. C and C also did a kickass remix of "call it what u want". Shame the video is the single edit, but damn, this remix is tight. c and ccould do no wrong back then. http://www.youtube.com/wa...rz9Zdr8eBk The only bad remix off that album is the arthur baker remix of "hanging tough". Mark Liggett and Chris Borbosa (Geroge Lamonds producers) do a great job on "please dont go girl", giving a bigger, fuller sound. It's no surprise those 2 remixed "my favorite girl" aswell, considering the orginal was a freestyle track. [Edited 8/31/06 17:00pm]

Oh how they've changed. I saw Donnie Wahlberg's latest movie at the cinema last week. Good on him for finding something he's actually good at.
