Where's Bilal?

Hey, this is my first post in this forum, so this might have been asked a looong time ago. Nonethless, does anyone know what Bilal is doing besides being a cameo on songs here and there-for those who know who Bilal is of course. sigh

I only know that he had an album ready, which is awesome, but unfortunately got postponed or whatever by his rec company because it was widely leaked. A shame, because this HAS to be released.

biggrin Yeah, the "Love For Sale" album! I think it's great, IMO, much better than his debut album. He really Needs to officially release it Now!!

Which says something, because you 1) have great taste in music and 2) I already love his first one!
BTW, I don't know how the situation really is, but if his rec company really will NOT release this at all, he must be devastated. I mean, how many hours of his life are in there? Or is HE holding it back? neutral

Yeah, it's a great album worship. However I am not that interested anymore if it is released or not as I am loosing interest in him. I was planning to attend 2 concerts by him this year and he cancelled both just days before they would have taken place. So I am kinda pissed and thus can't enjoy his music as much as I did sigh....
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

That's too bad... sad

All those really promising "neo-soul" artist hopefully strike back soon and hard. Meaning Bilal, D'Angelo and Maxwell.

along with on the jungle floor, love 4 sale is my fav of 2006
when it was leaked, i remember b saying something on my space about the leak affecting the march release date.
i think that is a lame excuse 4 the record company (i think he's on interscope
still)

this is my gripe with the industry and the music listener of 2day.
everyone is looking 4 the ladder, meaning folks are looking 4 the next great thing
sad 2 say, it isnt andre 3000. it's people like bilal or van hunt that will never get the support they deserve 2 turn in2 something great.

stars (legends)arent born in one cd
i said it so many times and i will say it again, it took prince 4-5 years to find himself as an artist.
that dude was booed off the stage at a stones show!!!
(can u say ashlee simpson)

the industry should let the people decide on what they want 2 listen 2
i know that d has turned in music 2 his label and they gawked at it, more than once.
probably the same thing 4 maxwell and others.
something needs 2 be done!!
minor keys and drugs don't make a rollerskate jam
