I think "Lost In You" is one of the best love ballads of the last 10 years. But tell people it's Garth Brooks and they look at you funny. But I'll say this. Don Was put his foot in that song. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Now, for Passion alone, I'd proudly admit I am a Peter Gabriel fan. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016

Garth Brooks and Peter Gabriel "milquetoast"? • Did you first think Prince was gay? •
Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.

I really love Glen Campbell's early singles - Wichita Lineman, Galveston, Gentle on My Mind, all of those. I guess you don't get much more square than that.
and - god, it pains me to admit this - I still really love the first three or four Jackson Brown albums, Late for the Sky in particular. I'm ashamed and embarrassed, but there ya go.

After Passion, which I consider pop music's answer to A Love Supreme, I'd NEVER call Peter Gabriel "milquetoast." Garth Brooks . . . well, he wasn't really the singer. "Chris Gaines" was. Good night, sweet Prince | 7 June 1958 - 21 April 2016
