So you're playing an upside-down right-handed guitar left-handed?

Whoever the Bass Player is for SLAVE. (I'm pretty sure his name is Mark Funderburke). He can hold his own with anyone. Just listen to all those SLAVE hits. The Basslines on "Watching Ladies", "Snapshot" and "Just A Touch Of Love" are FUUUUUNKY!!!

His name is Mark Adams and the song is actually called Watching You. He is one of my favorite bass players fro headbang music dancing jig.
I even created a Mark Adams appreciation thread a while back smile
Thanks man. He's one of my favorite bass players too, and I'm a huge Slave fan. The last song I remember hearing from them is "The Word Is Out" back in the 80's did they put anything else out after that? I also like Steve Arrington's solo work. I wish he'd done more.

Slave released five albums in the 90s and they are still at it, http://www.prince.org/msg/8/200094 cool
Unfortunately, the band is more like a tribute band nowadays, since it key members such as Steve Washington, Steve Arrington and Mark Adams are no longer present.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

To be honest, I'd always wished that Jack would have been Jimi's bassist instead of Noel. I never dug Noel. I think his playing was very below level of that of Hendrix and Mitch. Mitch was a good compliment to Jimi's playing, where as Noel's playing was stiff and fearful as could be. I know bass wasn't his main instrument, and it showed. Fuck his hair style, he still shouldn't have been picked. Plus, he was mad jealous of Hendrix, so,... why was he there?

Y'know, Even Chas could've played Noel under the table, really....I just picture him sitting there watching Noel, wanting to jump up there, grab the bass, and go, "No, like this!" lol
