Funny thing is, I saw a band/video that I liked the other day on MTV2 (the Brit version) and they were called The Gossip. Anyway, I checked out their website and tour schedule and it looks like they tour with Erase Errata all the time. I might to see them (The Gossip) in S.F. because they will be playing there when I'm in town in September. I've seen the ad in the paper for The Gossip/Erase Errata NYC show. They are playing here at Irving Plaza on September 13th. I saw that Gossip video on MTV's 'Subterranean' show. It isn't bad at all. I think I saw The Gossip a very long time ago opening for another band (The Donnas?). If I had one of their albums, I'd definitely check that show out. Well, I just liked the lead singer's voice. She had a really soulful sound, that just seemed really odd mixed in with the type of band they seem to be. Which in turn, got me interested. I haven't heard anything but that one song though and now I can't even remember it. "I saw a woman with major Hammer pants on the subway a few weeks ago and totally thought of you." - sextonseven

Oh yeah, here's the shows I've seen, if I can remember all of them correctly:
24-7 Spyz The Rogers Sisters PRINCE!!!!! Brazilian Girls She Wants Revenge and Scissor Sisters at the Siren Music Festival Alice Smith (great voice, check her out) Los Amigos Invisibles I could've seen the B-52's but the damn free outdoor show got rained out. So I only caught the opening act, Marth Wash from the Weather Girls. That's all I can think of now. Otherwise I've been going to see mostly local bands. God, my memory is horrible. I just saw she's coming to the Ave now! when, when, when?!! the tough part is it's a weeknight (meaning LATE night show). And the crazy is charging $24. Which may be hard to cough up cos I've seen her twice at free shows in MPLS. But, if I find comps I'll be there in a second. yupyup

Yeah, we got our (still drunk) asses outta bad and had 3 people on-line trying for tix. None of us got a single one. And, with the timing of their Chicago show, we were gonna make a super weekend of it and get cheap Madonna tixas she was there at the same time. But...what can ya do? I'm still hoping for Peaches, the album's new. She could still add MPLS to her tour at some point...
