It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

THAT song was back in the days when Babyface was funky and The Deele was part of the "new-bred" era (something Prince mention in Sexuality).

Greetings, all.
You all have named some good songs. I assume we're talking about songs that were dominated by synthesizer melodies and rhythms. Some of the songs I have seen are more drum machine or percussion-dominated or more special effects-laden (like Ready For The World's "Digital Display"). For The Bar-Kays, I would choose "Do It (Let Me See You Shake)" instead of "Freakshow on the Dance Floor." "Do It" was practically an all-synthesizer song, a vast departure from the standard Bar-Kays sound. Zapp's "More Bounce (to the Ounce)" is a near-obligatory choice, while the highly enjoyable "Dance Floor" is mostly a derivative of "More Bounce." George Clinton's "Atomic Dog" was rightfully named, but I also would throw in Funkadelic's (Not Just) Knee Deep." For The Time, I'm more apt to select "Get It Up" than the more percussion-led "Cool" and "777-9311." Here are some songs that haven't been listed I would choose: Midnight Star's "Freak-A-Zoid;" Earth, Wind & Fire's "Let's Groove;" The System's "You Are In My System;" and Stevie Wonder's "That Girl." I also would recommend Jesse Johnson's "Can You Help Me" and "Be Your Man." I'm not naming any electro-funk tracks, because by default they were synth-oriented club songs. [Edited 8/30/06 15:10pm] THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. HOLD ON TO YOUR DRAWERS!
