U don't need NO excuse, Wizard! U showed 2 of my all time faves right out the gate; James Jamerson, who you KNOW played bass on my dad's song "Standing At The Crossroad". And then, of course, Bootsy! Who u also KNOW is a huge influence on my bass playing. You've said so yourself, Dammit!

Some great bass masters listed, but I gotta give this fella the respect he deserves. John "The Ox", "Thunderfingers" Entwistle. Also played trumpet, french horn, trombone and piano. Developed the "typewriter" style of bass playing which predated Larry's Snappin and Pluckin and is more or less unique.
