Jermaine Jackson had some major personal issues in the late 80s/early 90s... have you ever heard of "Word to the Badd"?

totally inappropriate. He's almost as crazy as LaToya.

Him&His Brother weren't talking to each other&He let that out of the bag.I Heard MJ came looking for Him as well to see what the Problem was? the trip out thing about all of this: was that Jermaine recorded that track on LAFace Records&they put it out but La&Babyface were also trying to get there songs on the "Dangerous" Album.needless to Say MJ didn't put a Song with Babyface until some years later.that's how twisted that Business is.

I also heard Jermaine had problems in his marriage cause he was married to Berry Gordy of Motown's daughter and I think he was on the label and divorcing. I liked his music, pity you don't hear from him anymore.

I have mixed feelings about Jermaine. On one hand, I feel 4 him and having 2 live in Michael's shadow 4 so long, and having 2 live with the jealousy he harbored 4 along time against Michael.

He split with the Jacksons when they left Motown and then rejoined them when they were doing well.

In his own right, he's had a couple of hits, "Daddy's Home", "Let's Get Serious" (written and produced by Stevie Wonder), "Why Do You Do What You Do"...etc.

In all honesty, he probably could've been more famous, or more successful if his last name wasn't Jackson. It's hard 4 so many talented people 2 come out of one family...the public has room 4 just so much.

True. Unless you find your niche in a different genre.

Jermaine had some Jams&Whatnot. He did Production&Writing.same with Randy Jackson the Talent was there but they didn't push it like Michael did&that is one of the reasons why they kinda stop developing further IMHO.Jermaine tried to hard to Cross-Over&it showed on some of His Albums through out the 80's.the Guy is Very Talented but He went Pushing&it showed on alot of Watered-Down Music.when He Hits though He Hits.

Everyone raves about Michael and Janet, but Jermaine has his share of great songs too. Here are my favs...

***"Let's Get Serious"(1980)---This jam was written and produced by Stevie Wonder, who also appears on the track. It's a killer groove!

***"You're Supposed To Save Your Love For Me"(1980)

***"You Like Me,Don't You?"(1981)

***"I'm Just Too Shy"(1981)

***"Let Me Tickle Your Fancy"(1982)---This was cool! A slick,New Wave-styled pop song featuring Devo(!) on background vocals. This was a new direction for Jermaine.

***"Very Special Part"(1982)

***"Tell Me I'm Not Dreaming"(1984)---This is a kickass duet with Michael that Arista wanted to release as a single but MJ's label Epic said "No Way".Nevertheless,it recieved alot of radio airplay.

***"Dynamite"(1984)---Despite it's corny,MJ-styled video,this is a cool pop track with a catchy hook.

***"Do What You Do"(1984)---I LOVE this one! A nice ballad that you still hear on adult contemporary radio stations."Tell me something that I didn't do...Why did someone else have to pull you through?...Did he steal you away like a thief in the night?"

***"I Think It's Love"(1986)---a nice Stevie Wonder-styled track (I think he wrote this).

***"Don't Take It Personal"(1989)---

I LOVE jermaine!! I do think he's unrated because of the "jackson" name but have any of you ever heard Marlon's and jackie's solo projects...Marlons was VERY good and I only heard one of the cuts off of Jackie's called "Stay with me tonight"...The brothers have talent as well...they just couldn't get out of the shadow of their weird ass brother.

Are you talking about the song "Nobody Loves Me Like You Do" from Whitney's debut album,or the other duet "If You Say My Eyes Are Beautiful" from Jermaine's 1986 album?

Both songs are great! smile

Jermaine,Michael&Randy are the More Talented of the Brothers IMHO.Tito is good Guitar Player but didn't push more out of it.Marlon is ALright to me.I did like something He did on Betty Wright though.Jackie is ok at best.
