70s soul/funk album of the day: 'Togetherness' by L.T.D. (1978)

In the 70s,funk band L.T.D. released several great albums but 1978's 'Togetherness' is their masterpiece, imo. This album is overflowing with fantastic tunes...there's the hardcore funk number "Jam"...there's the superb first single "Holding On (When Love Is Gone)",which I consider their finest single....there's a couple of strong, soulful ballads,"We Both Deserve Each Other's Love" and "Concentrate On You"....there's a slick disco track "You Fooled Me"...there's even a Latin funk workout "It's Time To Be Real".Another highlight is "Don't Stop Loving Me Now".Really, there's not a bad tune anywhere on this album.Lead singer Jeffrey Osborne sounds wonderful,as always. This is the strongest, most consistent L.T.D album, who agrees?
