I know My Girl Whispers in alot of her Songs..
(Should have done a song with the Ying Yahng Twins) but I do hope she has some songs that she's not whispering. When they were talking about this being a return to her Control days, I was happy to hear that. Jam and Lewis made her come out of that whispering vocal, but so far these tracks haven't been the case. I hope she puts some attitude in those vocals as she's done in the past. Just my opinion.. Here's a MUCH better version of 'So Excited'. The sound quality finally sounds legit here. Im pretty sure that this is the finished version. Now that Im hearing a more official version, I like it. Maybe it's not terribly innovative, and JD is all over this song. I dont care. It still has Janet written all over it, and it's a hell of a lot better than Call On Me(though to be fair, Call On Me wasnt so much bad, it just wasnt a great JANET JACKSON single). JD actually complements the song well. This should solidify a decent comeback for Ms. Jackson. Oddly, Khia is NOWHERE to be found on the track. Even more interesting, she's complaining that she's been removed from the song. Hmm...interesting how this will play out. Maybe a version with her rap in it will turn up on 20 Y.O. | |

What happened to one of my favorite artist? What went wrong with Janet?
