Genius marketing move Just thought i would post this though i know no one will know the artist or the song but i think "Remix"lovers will appreciate. If u remember back in the day when the Real Remix was around, and when i say remix Im talkint the "Lets Go Crazy" 12" mix, im not talking having Ja Rule or Busta Rhymes Rap over you as a remix. Now a genius Move in the Latin Market, the artist Ninel Conde, who is more known for her acting in the latin market, in fact she is currently on a Soap Opera called "Rebelde" which is viewed by more people than an American Idole finale on daily basis. Well Ninel has made a few albums mostly in the Tex/Mex category, and had an album out in late 2005, but now she is back with a single that is called "Bombon Asesino" which is already Top 10, but the trick is, the song and video were done 5 different ways, Latin Pop, Dance, Tejano, Reggaeton and Salsa, all the mixes will be available only on CD single which will be issued on EMI latin and in conjunction with Ninels official site (that means $$) . Obviously Ninel now in her mid 30's (an age that would be considered a dinosaur in american music) is cashing in on her soap opera but this will also be one of the first Latin Cd singles and probably the first song in the Latin Market to chart 5 different ways. "We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F | |
