Older people and changing music technology stories. I'll start.....
My uncle had an old van he bought brand new in the mid 1970s. He drove that damn van till it wouldn't run any more. In the mid 1990s, he bought a new car and it had a cassette player in it. He asked me what the best cassette tape was he could buy. I told him TDK. He went out and bought him a TDK cassette tape. The next time I saw him he said something was wrong with the tape because all it did was hiss and wouldn't play. I asked him what he recorded on it. He said "Record?" Andy is a four letter word. | |
