It's the entire Blue Sunshine album with vocals by Robert Smith instead of the girl, and then a few remixes and whatnot at the end, all with RS vocals. The backing tracks are a little more spare than the finished album, but it still sounds tight - not loose and demo-ey like some of the other bonus disc stuff (which I still love to death). The main "Blue Sunshine" disc has remixes and b-side stuff tacked on to the end as well. The remixes and b-sides were on the original CD also so those were nothing new. Smith's vocals are interesting on disc 2, particularly for the two tracks that were originally instrumentals. I still prefer Jeanette Landray's vocals on the finished tracks, but if you know me then that's a no-brainer. The liner notes say Jeanette got the singer part because she was Budgie's girlfriend which has me wondering how I should interpret the word "girlfriend" because the pic of Sioux and Budgie in the shower on the cover of the first Creatures' single suggest that there was something already going on between the two of them at that time.

How is that, by the way? it's...interesting. some of it is trashy and fun, and part of it sounds like sad old people trying to sound dangerous with the help of reverently polite session musicians. the trashy fun parts are great, though!
