I heard this song last nite on my friend's sister's iPod nano. Saw some girls performing a dance to this song when I was living near the projects. Never put a name to it until now.

I must say, even though it's mindless, it's a fun dance song. We were jammin' to this song in our sweaty Brooklyn apartment.

That's the kind of dance that you really have to do well. If not it looks too much like the David Chapelle jigaboo dance.

First there's snap, the pool palace, the roosevelt, the bunny hop, and now this.

I can see this in the next Dipset video.

OK, now I've been talking to a few folks and I just wanna say these few things...

- The dance is attributed to HARLEM only.
- The other boroughs (Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island, etc.) don't really claim it (so it isn't an "all city" type dance). It's a dance from New York City, but it doesn't represent all of NY.
- A lot of kids from other boroughs do it and around the Northeast, but not everybody from New York loves the dance, so it's not like people claim it with pride.
- In some areas and with some folks it's already played out (typical of most crazes in New York, it's hot for a minute and then it gets played out when everybody catches on).

That is so sad.

I heard this other song the other day on Sirus Hot Jamz (the hot, hip R&B station) and it was OK. I couldn't picture a dance for it but it has the one hit wonder kind of quality.
