I like his "shamelessly pop" acknowledgement at the end. giggle Supa went to bat for that Pink album many times on the org.

It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I'd be surprised if you had any album released that year. Or any year since then. What's the newest album that you own? You seem kinda retro to me. hmmm

That doesn't count. It was compiled this decade, but what about music actually from 2000 on up?

There were only a few great albums from that year AFAIC. Let's see...

10. Michael Jackson - Invincible [a lackluster album with some outstanding songs]
9. Prince - The Rainbow Children [a good album with no standout songs IMO]
8. Missy Elliott - Miss E...So Addictive
7. Tim Finn - Feeding the Gods
6. Angie Stone - Mahogany Soul
5. Travis - The Invisible Band
4. India.Arie - Acoustic Soul
3. Jay-Z - The Blueprint
2. Aaliyah - Aaliyah
1. Neil Finn - One Nil

OK, I gotta dig around to see what all was released that year because now I would not classify B Jaxx, Keyes, or Nelly as favorites. Everything else ,yes.

cuz that pink album is the bomb nod

It got a bad rap with crap like get the party started but there is some really soul searching amazing songs on there. I did not like her as a debut artist but she redeemed my opinion of her with this album. An essential for me nod

In hindsight, 2002 was one of the better years for music this decade (so far).

Cookie: The Anthropoligical Mixtape -- Me'Shell Ndegeocello

in between -- jazzanova

mushroom jazz 4 -- DJ Mark Farina

the way i feel -- Remy Shand

Sea Change -- Beck

Quality -- Talib Kweli

Phrenology -- The Roots

Nuspirit Helsinki -- Nuspirit Helsinki

Cee-Lo Green and His Perfect Imperfections -- Cee-Lo

and of course, my favorite album from 2002 (even if I discovered it almost a decade and a half after its release)

Passion: Soundtrack for The Last Temptation of Christ -- Peter Gabriel

That was just a top 10 for that year of what I had purchased. There might have been better albums I never heard lol
