Well it could be, after taking years to put this together, advance orders, airplay, and things like that are not looking good. Though i could care less about things like this and numbers, you kinda feel a little bad for the ladies because they are on this trainwreck and they really have no supertalent in the group where u could say that "girl" is something special. Just based on orders for the 8/22 new releases Danity Kane is behind Outkast and Paris Hilton by quite a bit, and seeing how much $$ Mtv, and Puffy put into this they are banking on a 200,000+ first week number and they are not even near that yet, on advance orders they have them in the 60-70,000 range which is nothing be sad about but i guess when you put some much $$ to buy a chartplace and dont get it im sure this will be the last Making the Band.

well what can you say, it's Puffy's style...he puts more energy into his own music than his artists...

Not by a longshot, Cassie is not a product of Puffys at all, though singed to BadBoy, its not his investment, in fact she sold 100,000 in week 1 which is a shock. But you have to remember that about a year ago this was a girl who put her bio and demos on Myspace and then got signed by Sony/Badboy from that. Yeah, Puffy sure peaked in the mid-ninties and after that nearly everything he touches either tanks or is only a moderate hit. It seems like much more effort was put into making the show a hit than the album but I don't think he really expected outsell either Outkast (and probably not Paris either....not in the first week).
