"I think the second album is 100 times better than our first one," said Arnstein, 20, who is preparing to go to San Francisco State to study psychology and now sings in the "Fleetwood Mac meet Coldplay" band Whirlmagnet. "There was this push for us to be more sexual and this emphasis on being skinny. We always had this mentality that we were real, we were really friends and really in love with music and having a good time. Suddenly that was not the game. It was, 'How much weight can you lose and how sexual can you be?' "

But that is the game and the cause well blame the media if you will but people are the ones buying it and supporting it 24/7. This is why it sells to kids, because kids are not really about asking questions. Kids today think they can be stars so easily because of things like AMerican Idol and all of that, but in reality KIDS, u cant, odds are you arent gonna be Beyonce or the overnight sensation u wanna be, it really doesnt work like that though its all you see. As for Beyonce she i must say that she has become nothing more than a "slave" to this. I read her article about not being taken seriously and for a second felt bad and then i thought how can i feel bad for her, everything about her is Image, short dresses, sexy videos etc...And now we are supposed to believe she is a rebel, with her new video, trying to be different, but lets be real, shes preaching about not being taken seriously and then feeding the fire.

"We went where our music was appreciated, and that was everywhere but the USA, we knew we had fans, but there is only so much of the world you can play at once" Magne F

Well it could be, after taking years to put this together, advance orders, airplay, and things like that are not looking good. Though i could care less about things like this and numbers, you kinda feel a little bad for the ladies because they are on this trainwreck and they really have no supertalent in the group where u could say that "girl" is something special. Just based on orders for the 8/22 new releases Danity Kane is behind Outkast and Paris Hilton by quite a bit, and seeing how much $$ Mtv, and Puffy put into this they are banking on a 200,000+ first week number and they are not even near that yet, on advance orders they have them in the 60-70,000 range which is nothing be sad about but i guess when you put some much $$ to buy a chartplace and dont get it im sure this will be the last Making the Band.
Diddy is doing the same thing to these young women that he did to Da Band. He's usng the show to make as much $$ off them as he can, then he'll get rid of them. The odds are really stacked against Danity Kane.

Exactly what i'm saying. He doesn't do anything but put all the energy and good stuff into his OWN music....
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

well what can you say, it's Puffy's style...he puts more energy into his own music than his artists... confused

I dont think its really that, i think he is trying to create something, but its all been done already. I mean do we really need another RB/Pop female group. There is nothing different here, i mean he produced the whole thing so i think it is a reflection on him more than them. I think its him wanting to put out something with staying power, but in RB there really isnt "staying power" anymore.

like i said, he isn't worried about them, he just likes making money off of the show about them. right now his concern is about his own album...
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

I actually like them, especially Andrea and D Woods razz The sad thing is, they have NO input in the songs they record, who ultimately appears on what songs, or any creative input in the videos. And they can sing, as they proved in that club appearance with that music producer who was pretty good on keys.

Then, BadBoy goes and puts out that wack first single...

lol And that ain't sayin a lot...

All he bascially does is spin an old R&B and add his patented "Uh huh...uh".
• Did you first think Prince was gay? •

Wendy: He’s a girl, for sure, but he’s not gay. He looked at me like a gay woman would look at another woman. Lisa: Totally. He’s like a fancy lesbian.
