The show was great! The NJ crowd wasn't as into it as if the show was in a bigger city, but I still enjoyed it. The highlight was "No" which Shakira performed wearing a huge billowing red dress with extended sleeves that she swirled around very gracefully. At the end of the song she twirled them around above her in a circle so she looked like a huge red flower. Wyclef was the opening act. He joined her onstage for the big finale "Hips Don't Lie" (duh), but he lipsynced his parts. Lame!

Full setlist:

Estoy Aquí
Te Dejo Madrid
Don't Bother
Antología
Hey You
Inevitable
Si Te Vas
Obtener Un Sí
La Tortura
No
Whenever, Wherever
La Pared (Versión Acústica)
Underneath Your Clothes
Pies Descalzos
Ciega, Sordomuda

(encore)
Ojos Así
Hips Don't Lie

Wyclef - 35 minutes, Shakira - 95 minutes.

I hope she does a DVD.

Another one? Another live DVD right after the tour of the Mongoose one seems unlikely. But Janet did two live DVDs in a row so maybe Shakira can also.

I was actually thinking about her when I wrote my response, but who really is in the same league as la M?

I've seen them both live this year. La M has a lot more bells and whistles for her shows. It's the equivalent of going to see the circus, lol. Shakira's show is more of a meat and potatoes-type event. The focus is mostly on good musicianship and Shakira's hips. razz
