...of WLIE News here. We interrupt this program to bring you a report that Meloh9, founding member of the group The Verge, has been the victim of a drive-by shooting. The only other details we have at the moment are from an on scene witness who states, "The shots came from a car i've never seen before. The only other thing I remember is that there was some real weird music coming from the vehicle." According to information we have received from a doctor at the local hospital, Meloh9 was shot 31 times in the chest and 21 times in the back. Amazingly, he is expected to survive. In a strange turn of events, this incident has started an insane bidding war among competing Gangsta Rap organizations for Meloh9's services. "Yeah boyee. I could work that baller.  Seriously though, Yeah we gotta get over to the Hospital and check on our boy!!! There's help needed, things to be done, agents to negotiate with, contracts to sign!! This is sad, but what a tragedy it'll really be if no deal comes out of it all!!!

Broadcast taken live, from Nonesuch News: Leif Russell here, from Nonesuch News--- Yes, apparently the earlier stories have been confirmed. Verge member Meloh9 has been shot repeatedly but is currently recuperating in this hospital behind me. We were trying to get in , but the area is crowded with hospital staff, band members, music industry scouts and other insiders. Unfortunately, this is just the latest in a series of deadly encounters in the music community. Last month, one individual apparently decided if that getting shot can improve your standing, and give respect in today's Hip hop climate, he would take it to the next level... Calling himself TNT, his plans actually did involve dynamite. Sadly, a staged publicity stunt didn't go as planned, though a sound engineer on hand did record the event--- it apparently only consisted of the following: (plays tape)- "Yo, Yo!! Mufukkkas out there gotta know, A man like me ain't just-- "Aaaaiiiiieeeee!!!!!.... "...KA-BLAM!!!!!" (sounds of confusion, fire...) (tape ends.) Sadly, TNT himself perished in the detonation, but the ambitious engineer was able to take the track, throw on some overdubs, and was able to get Pharrell to do a hip remix on it. Suzie Mixture: This is Suzie Mixture and I'm standing directly across the street from the hospital that original member and founder of The Verge, Meloh9, lays wounded from multiple gun shots that happened in a drive by shooting. As you can see behind me, there are hundreds of supporters here, in a makeshift vigil. They have been out here for hours now. Danny get a shot of this. (camera shot of hundreds of people lined up and down the block) They have come holding candles and gifts for Meloh. Many are holding signs. Many that I have spoken to are dedicated fans of The Verge and of course, of Meloh. Many, as you can see, are wearing The Verge's t-shirts. Oh, I've just gotten word that Christopher CoShea a.k.a blackguitaristz, Meloh's good friend and fellow bandmember is two blocks away from here, no doubt on his way to show support. (hysterical screams) Oh, here comes a car pulling up now. This may be blackguitaristz. We can't tell as no one has stepped out of the car as of yet. But judging from the response of the people, I would say...(pause) Oh my goodness, I...it's becoming very hard for me to even hear myself speak....The car door is opening,...it is extremely loud now... two large men has stepped out, probably security,..oh, I see that we have lost our picture.....for those of you, watching at home, we do apologize....
