Working Day And Night

for me, mj's videos and songs and his persona seems soo wonderful and they make me feel at peace. everything is calm when i think of mj even when my parents fight like crazy. i escape to some world where everything is peaceful,pure,happy. his work make me cry with so much emotion and they make me feel so many emotions that i never felt for someone's work before. maybe in real life, mj ss mean,weird,etc. but even if he was to die today, his legacy and his work would be embraced so much more.

prince amazes me musically. i admire what he is able to do with the insturments, but his work never made me feel anything besides for : this is very artistic work.

My favourite songs are Billie Jean, Dirty Diana and Who is it. Video has go to be...hmm...Remember the time

But U must become a Prince b4 U'r king anyway!

Why is this question even being asked? I thought this was a Prince site, if I ever want to talk about MJ then I'll go and comment on a MJ site! Sorry if this is being negative but I don't understand why everyone mentions MJ all the time. I don't like him! apart from "Thriller" his albums and music bore me.

I am a Prince fan, that's why I'm her and that's what I listen to, I listen to other music but don't think that commenting on it here is the right place unless there is a connection to Prince eg. Alicia Keys, anyone who covers Prince, respects Prince, appears on stage with Prince etc... These are the people we should be talking about, not MJ! Stick to the name of the Org, that's why we are here.

The best video is "Scream" because it has Janet in it.

I 4got one, "Lovely One" from the "Triumph" album... It's like "Shake Your Body (Down To The Ground)" Part II. Great beat, great lyrics, and of course Michael's trademark "hee hee hee".

nice thread...my favorite MJ song has to be "Lady In My Life"...damn, i wish MJ would go back to singing a song...rather then grunting...it pisses me off just as much as Princes overlayering of his vocals pisses me off...MJ truly has one of the greatest voices of all time...he proved this with his work with Jackson 5 and Off The Wall...but, since then, he seems to want to hide it...dont know why...

Is it true that R. Kelly wrote "You Are Not Alone" for MJ cause they both are into sex with minors? Pedophiles got to stick together.
My attention is focused on the next Prince tour. Prince on the acoustic guitar and piano. Just the thought of that obliterates anything tired plastic wacko Jacko can dream up.

There are a lot of Michael Jackson songs that I like. For me, it goes like this:

Off the Wall: the whole album is a masterpiece but my favorite songs are Rock With You, Don't Stop..., and Get on the Floor.

Thriller: another masterpiece. Billie Jean, Thriller and Lady in My Life are my favorites.

Bad: great album. Bad, Liberian Girl, Smooth Criminal are hot.

Dangerous: to me, it was his last great album. In the Closet, Remember the Time, Can't Let Her Get Away and more that I can't remember. I liked it more than I thought I did.

HIStory: an alright album. My favorites are Stranger in Moscow and You are not Alone.

Invincible: should have been better than it was but there were some gems. They were Break of Dawn, Heaven Can Wait, Whatever Happens and Butterflies.

Michael Jackson, when we get out of his personal life, his music is still awesome. Period.

"Scream" is one of my favorite videos of all time. it's just a cool vid. I don't even care for the song, and I can't stand MJ at all. Who directed that video?

I don't think "HIStory" was all that bad, bsides getting new remastered tracks of his biggest hits, u got some pretty decent new tracks as well.

"Scream", "They Don't Care About Us", "Stranger In Moscow", "This Time Around", "Earth Song", "Money", "You Are Not Alone" and "2 Bad".

My favorite, "Money". I played and replayed that over and over... I loved the premise, the drive, the message! It was all good.

2nd Fave, "This Time Around"...he said "I ain't takin' no shit, cuz u really wanna get me, get me"...such anger! I loved it!

Did anybody buy the new remastered discs of "Off The Wall", "Thriller", "Bad" and "Dangerous"? They had some special new tracks and demos. The full "rap" by Vincent Price was on the remastered "Thriller"...that's the only one I got. I still want the other 3.
