"Save the Best for Me" - Bunny DeBarge Does anybody remember this song? Think it came out around 1986 or 1987. It sounds like a cut off Janet Jackson's "Control" album, very catchy. RIP, mom. I will forever miss and love you.

I remember this song
Save the best for me...best of your lovin' or put me on the shelf for somebody else Save the best for me...best of your lovin' or put me on the shelf for somebody else It was written and produced by the same guys who produced some of the Jets' hits singles.Could have easily been recorded by the Jets.

when I was little (or at least adolescent) I used to LUUUUUV me some Bunny Debarge! I went to see Debarge at a record store promotion when I Like It came out and she was sooo pretty yet grandmaw-ish in a homespun kind of way. I remember she was sweet and fawning to every kid that crossed her path that day, and was signing autographs with her brothers. She tripped me out because she was behind the store counter in pink fuzzy house shoes chain smokin' KOOL's cigarettes, and was as smiling and gentle as could be

OMG, I can't believe someone dug up this little ditty. I haven't thought about this song probably since 1987 but as soon as I read the title I was able to sing it. Scary. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off
