Annie Lennox - "Ev'ry Time We Say Goodbye"

Annie Lennox sings Cole Porter.... hmmm
IT SOUNDS GOOD, she should do an album of standards, like Carly Simon`s "Torch"...

Love that song...what hell I love all that, that woman has recorded!

She almost did a "standards album" in her own way. It was the first album I bought from her!

Do you know if it was released as a single? I know there`s a video for the song, so you would assume there was a single too, but i can`t find it anywhere on the internet...

"Medusa" is a great collection of songs, i know most of the orgers would disagree, but i think her version of "A whiter shade of pale" is ten times better than the original!!
My favorite from the album is "Something so right" mushy

It makes me cry! Especially now that she's done "Hush, Hush" on the Herbie Hancock CD. Both of these are sooo sad....

I need a tissue. sad

You should hear her sing it live, from the 4th row -- while she's looking right at you! I nearly threw up!!! (From excitement, of course!) That was THE BEST concert I ever went to. In fact, I don't think I'd care to see her in concert again just because I doubt I could get a more intimate seat...

Where was I? She's simply amazing to see live, especially singing these songs!!!
