I know that Five Star's debut album was a hit on American R&B radio in the 80's. Their main R&B hits in America were All Fall Down, Let Me Be The One, Love Take Over, & Krazy

Almost like the case of Kylie later on, Five Star were a lot bigger (dance-pop wise) outside of USA.

Don't forget "Can't Wait Another Minute". That was also an American top ten R&B hit, but their biggest U.S. pop hit (#41).

...from the second album. You're right!

I know Lorraine and Malcolm Jamal Warner were an item for a little while.

Delroy? I always thought Stedman was possibley gay.
I am convinced Beyonce's career would not be where it is, if she had dark skin.

I loved my Silk and Steel album as a kid. I was 10 when that came out. It actually still sounds pretty good to me now.

I think Eddie Murphy tried to court one of the sisters back in the day hmmm

That's correct. He spoke about this in a Rolling Stone interview, saying that her father was pressuring him to marry his daughter. This was in the late 80s and he wasn't interested in being married yet,so he ended the relationship.
