With this cover of Iris...

I was never a fan of Boyzone, but I forgave them because I kinda liked other boybands at the time.

But now Ronan has marketed himself into Daniel O'fucking Donnell, covering decent songs and selling them to grannies!!

I LOVE the Goo Goo Dolls, one of the best bands of the last 5/10 years for me. Iris is the only song everyone knows, which is annoying enough, because its their most commercial crappy pap, and its not what they song like on the whole!

I can't believe Daniel O'Donnell junior is singing this song on the radio. What a load of sheeite.

Quite possibly the funniest moment I've ever seen on TV was on an MTV Europe Music Awards one year with Ronan being interviewed backstage. He went along the lines of:

"I think when Boyzone came along it was something fresh and new because we were so off the wall for the boyband format"

I meant to add that a friend of mine was drinking in a hotel bar in Ireland when one of Ronan's flunkies came in and asked the bar manager if he could clear the bar out for Ronan as he wanted to have a quiet drink. The bar manager told him where to go. What an arse.

ME TOO!!! not only has he done a cover of Iris (HIGHLY insulting!) but he's now done a cover version of LeeAnn Womack's "I hope you dance" so now he's redone two of my favourite ever songs!!
