I haven't seen the video and won't watch it but it reminds me of a video I saw a year or so ago where this one year old was doing 'the booty dance' to a Beyonce song. I didn't that was cute or funny either.

My parents used to play "Mary Jane" a lot when I was younger. I used to love it.....still do. Maybe it was telling me something about my future

In a way this kinda reminds me of my little cousin who just turned 3 a few weeks ago. She knows the words to popular songs they play on the radio.

Mary Janes is a double entendre song and that means you can pretty much read into it whatever you want. When I first heard Mary Jane I loved it and it was only a few years later that I found out that he was singing about weed. I thought he was singing about a girl.

If you don't want your kids singing it, that's your perogative, but I don't think it's fair to knock someone else's choice, especially when you admit to having done it yourself. I don't see where this young kid's gonna get "ruined" by singing "Mary Jane" (which she probably think is a simple love song like I did) especially when by the time she finds out, she'll probably be on to something else and won't even remember it. I'd rather my kids sing a song about weed than singing a song about people dying from the bubonic plague, making light of one of the world's worst epidemics in history.
